LOOK: James Reid and Nadine Lustre master ‘the art of deadma’
James Reid and Nadine Lustre are tired of all the drama, so they chose to hit back at the negativity in a lighthearted manner.
Reid took to Instagram on Saturday to post a selfie with his lady love while they were on vacation in Panglao Island, Bohol.
Reid wrote: “That face we make when haters make sh*t up about us and then we didn’t care and got on with our lives and went to the beach and took a selfie.”
To stress his point, he accompanied his caption with the hashtags #careless and #TheArtOfDeadma.
While their relationship is going strong, the pair told television host Boy Abunda during their guesting in his late night show this week that the sudden death of Lustre’s brother had an impact on the dynamics of their bond.

So she was holding her emotions, she never really let it go, and that was one of the things that I tried getting out of her.”
The couple said that over the years, they learned to rely on “trust and communication” to withstand challenges.
“A 110%, you give your trust to the person talaga. Kasi mahirap kung may doubt, kahit konting doubt lang dun sa tao na mahal mo,” Lustre said.

And when it comes to respecting each other’s freedom, they admitted that they do not check each other’s phones: “It’s respect and trust, and personal space.” Katrina Hallare/JB
