LOOK: Pia Wurtzbach stuns in European trip
Pia Wurtzbach no doubt gives justice to her Miss Universe 2015 title as she looked every inch a beauty queen in her vacation photos in Switzerland and the Netherlands.
In one photo Wurtzbach uploaded last Jan. 15, she can be seen candidly posing outside the Opernhaus in Zurich, Switzerland. For the occasion, Wurtzbach wore a black trench coat, which she paired with a Christian Dior Diorama bag. The photo was captioned: “Wish I could stay here forever.”
As Wurtzbach enjoyed the marvelous eats Europe had to offer, her fans couldn’t help but live vicariously through her photos.
In another post, Wurtzbach shared a photo of her with boyfriend, racing driver Marlon Stockinger. It was noted that Stockinger, who is Filipino-Swiss, showed the Miss Universe around his hometown of Zurich.
Stockinger also took to Instagram to share photos of their Euro trip. In one photo he uploaded on Jan. 15, he showed a picture of him and Wurtzbach looking all loved up under romantic lamp-lit trees.
“When you eat a lot of fondue and serious photos get cheesy,” wrote Stockinger.
Whether it be taking a trip down to the Opernhaus in Zurich, enjoying thick-cut war fries in Amsterdam or buying ripe Swiss cheese, Wurtzbach made sure she didn’t let any chances pass her by. And it was a well-deserved trip for the workhorse, too.
Wurtzbach had been working hard the past year; apart from the numerous products she has to endorse, Wurtzbach also starred in the Metro Manila Film Festival entry “Gandarrapido: The Revenger Squad.”
Her European trip with Stockinger was exactly what she needed to take a bit of break and get some headspace.
“Masaya. Masarap yung feeling na Pia lang,” Wurtzbach told Philippine Entertainment Portal two days ago of her trip. “Pagpunta ko dun, hindi ko kailangang mag-ayos, mag make–up, kasama ko lang ang family ko.” (It was fun. It’s a good feeling to be just Pia. When I went there, I didn’t have to be all made up, I was just with my family.)
But even Miss Universe can’t be on vacation forever. Fresh from her European trip, Wurtzbach said she was recharged and ready to get back to work. /ra
