JC Santos admits breakup with Teetin Villanueva; she says ‘he can’t be trusted’
Although not getting into too much details, actor JC Santos has opened up about his breakup with his girlfriend of four years, stage actress Teetin Villanueva.
Santos said the root of their relationship woes is his showbiz career.
“Sa ngayon kasi, it’s a different priority, e. So we’ll see kung kami and if it’s meant to be… kung hindi, hindi (For now, it’s a different priority. So we’ll see if we’re really meant to be… if not, then no),” the actor told Philippine Entertainment Portal.
Despite the failure of their relationship, the actor keeps his hopes up and said that he will focus instead on his career.
“Lalo na ngayon na bago ako sa industriya, kaya, as much as possible, kung mapagsasabay ko, kakayanin ko (Especially now that I am new in the industry; as much as possible, if I can balance [my career with my love life], I’ll do my best),” he added. “Pero siyempre, career is important (But of course, career is important).”

Villanueva then commented that Santos cannot be trusted, and that there was no way they can rekindle their relationship.
This led some fans of Santos to speculate that the cause of their breakup was a third party. One fan, @pee.dx even pointed out that the stylist and Santos were at the beach together.
Proving the comment partly correct, Santos was indeed enjoying the beach recently, relaxing in El Nido. However, the supposed stylist is not present in the photo.
Villanueva added more fuel to the fire by revealing that the stylist was “just one of the many.” Villanueva punctuated her remark with a smiley emoji.
Feeling discouraged, the fan expressed dismay over Santos’ behavior while commenting about the supposed third party looking “cheap.”
Once again, Villanueva fired shots and replied that “cheap” is the perfect word to describe the person.
Santos, recently seen in the movie “Meant To Beh” with Vic Sotto and Dawn Zulueta, is yet to comment on the allegations. Katrina Hallare/JB
