Kris Aquino, Herbert Bautista tease each other: ‘Let’s get married!’
It was quite a reunion for The Queen of All Media Kris Aquino and Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista as they got together for a wedding — not of their own, but for her yaya.
Aquino shared on her personal YouTube page that her trusted yaya, Raquel Luntayao, got married in a civil ceremony to her boyfriend, Junaries Confesor.
Although Aquino and Bautista’s romantic relationship from years back did not lead them to the altar, the two made sure that things were good between them as they celebrated the union of Luntayao and Confesor. Aquino was a witness, while Bautista officiated the marriage.
At one point before the ceremony started, the ex-lovers, along with her sons Bimby and Josh, greeted each other. While they all headed to the office where the ceremony would be held, Aquino casually said “Let’s get married!” To this, Bautista suddenly looked back at Aquino, repeated what she said in the manner of a question, then laughed.

Setting aside the jokes, Bautista proceeded with presiding the wedding. After saying the words, “You may now kiss your wife,” he once again did another antic by holding up the folder between the couple as they attempted to kiss.
After the wedding, the couple posed for pictures with their family and guests. Aquino and Bautista also had a photo of them taken. While posing, he jokingly asked “Nandyan na ba si judge?” (Is the judge already there?); to which Aquino replied, “We need a prenup. Sorry.”
At one point too during the photo sessions, while Aquino pointed to the groom, she addressed Bautista with a smile, “S’ya tinuloy n’ya ‘yung kasal. Ikaw, hinde.” (He went on with the wedding. You didn’t.) Again, this sent the guests laughing, while Bautista obviously did his best to stop himself from also laughing.
Aquino and Bautista had a brief relationship for a time that almost led to marriage. She has previously revealed that in 2014, the actor-turned-politician backed out from their planned wedding. She also refers to Bautista as his favorite ex. JB
