WATCH: Moby reveals details on new album, shares fresh track ‘Like a Motherless Child’

Electronic musician Moby has revealed plans to release his latest studio album next March, and he shared a music video for the album’s first single, “Like a Motherless Child”.

The album, called “Everything was Beautiful, and Nothing Hurt”, is due out on March 2, 2018.

Moby revealed to Billboard that the album, whose title makes reference to Kurt Vonnegut’s “Slaughterhouse-Five”, is trip-hop inspired.

He likewise talked to Billboard about his new video: “The song is quite personal and emotional, and maybe this is not a great thing, but I wanted this video to draw attention to that. The French concept of mise-en-scène, where what you see onscreen represents the emotional tenor of the music, I wanted it to do that somehow.”
