New in theaters: ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’, ‘Ferdinand’, ‘Permanent’, ‘Beyond Skyline’

The eighth film in the core “Star Wars” saga, “The Last Jedi” commences global release from Dec. 13, with international openings for animated adventure “Ferdinand”, as well as United States bows for family comedy “Permanent” and sci-fi action movie “Beyond Skyline” taking place the same week.
