LOOK: Anne Curtis tells story of her dream wedding gown by Monique Lhuillier
Weeks after getting married to long-time beau Erwan Heussaff, Anne Curtis seems to still be on cloud nine, as she recently shared her thoughts about wearing her dream wedding dress.
On Instagram, Curtis posted on Sunday how the journey to having her dress started. She thanked Filipino-French fashion designer Monique Lhuillier for turning her dream into a reality.
“I think as a little girl we always imagine or dream of our wedding dress and how we want it to look like… but when the day actually comes it can get quite overwhelming…,” Curtis wrote.
The “It’s Showtime” host described Lhuillier’s creation as everything she had dreamed of: “Ethereal, dreamy, traditional yet still fun.” She also revealed that it took 10 months and four visits in the designer’s Melrose, California branch to see the dress and fit it.
“I can’t even express in words how I felt the moment you first put a veil on me and then again when I put on the dress for our last fitting. Thaaaaaaank you for making it a memorable bridal journey for me,” she said.
