Hashtag Franco in last video with girlfriend: ‘I love you, sorry’
Franco Hernandez left loved ones and fans heartbroken when news of his sudden death broke.
A member of the “It’s Showtime” all-male group Hashtags, ABS-CBN reported that he was on a motorized bangka in Davao Occidental when a strong wave caused him and his girlfriend, Janica Nam Floresca, to fall off.
While Floresca survived after being rescued, Hernandez was unconscious and was pronounced dead on arrival.
Floresca took to social media to express her grief, sharing a picture that said, “You’ll never be replaced.”
She also posted a video, their last one together before they went on the fateful boat ride. She said she felt like Hernandez was sending her a message.
As they walked along the beach, the 26-year-old tells her, “I love you so much love. Thank you na mahaba ang patience mo. Sorry din kung… wala. Basta. Love you so much.”

They exchanged kisses before he asks her, “Enjoy ka ba?”
“Siyempre basta kasama kita,” she replies. (Of course, as long as I’m with you.)
She lamented in the caption. “Bakit naman ganon mahal, ang unfair. Sabi mo sakin you want to make more memories with me.”
(Why, my love? It’s unfair. You told me you want to make more memories with me.)
“Balik ka na please… ikaw ang buhay ko mahal,” she wrote. (Please return.. You are my life, my love.)
In an interview with ABS-CBN, Floresca shared that they both didn’t know how to swim and were floating for about 30 minutes when the wave hit their boat. They were also not wearing lifejackets at the time. JB
