A netizen discovered another prophecy of the animated sitcom “The Simpsons” in an old 1990s episode, and shared it on social media.

Twitter user Ryan W. Mead uploaded a screen shot from the season ten episode “When You Dish Upon A Star”, showing a billboard for 20th Century Fox. The billboard’s tagline read “A Division of Walt Disney Co.”

The episode aired in 1998, nearly 20 years before word came out recently regarding Disney’s possible purchase of Fox’s entertainment business.

Netizens acknowledged the show’s predictive powers, given that it also foretold of Trump’s election as president.

One commenter said the show was directed by time travelers. Another called “The Simpsons” the modern day Nostradamus.

Meanwhile, other netizens wondered about the Marvel-created intellectual properties currently owned by Fox, particularly “X-Men” and “Fantastic Four”. Fox also owns the rights to “Deadpool” and “Wolverine”.
