WATCH: ‘Stargate: Origins’ teaser showcases scenic sets, fight scene
The upcoming “Stargate: Origins” science fiction series offered fans a behind-the-scenes teaser uploaded on the show’s official YouTube channel.
News of the series was revealed during the Los Angeles Comic Con which ran from Oct. 27 to 29.
The new series’ story will be a prequel to the existing “Stargate” series franchise. The main protagonist will be played by Ellie Gall, as a young Catherine Langford.
The clip, while not revealing much about the new series’ story, gave a good sneak peek into the challenging shooting conditions for the cast and crew. A short duel scene hinted at a fair dose of action which viewers can look forward to.
According to The Verge, “Stargate: Origins” could be expected to launch before the end of 2017. It will be available through the streaming service of the website Stargate Command. JB
