SINGER-ACTOR Matteo Guidicelli is officially an adult and is caught between two girls—onscreen, at least.

Matteo, who turns 21 on March 26, makes his movie debut in “Catch Me … I’m in Love,” which top-bills longtime crush Sarah Geronimo.

On TV, the former karting champ is set to start a new ABS-CBN soap opera “Binondo Girl” with Kim Chiu.

Matteo related that he first met Sarah over four years ago when she had a concert in Batangas.

While on vacation in his native Cebu, he also lined up to watch Sarah’s concert there. “Backstage, (fellow Swatch model) Billy (Crawford) introduced us.”

Quite naturally, Matteo was initially “intimidated” about sharing the screen with Sarah.

“Before the shoot, Sarah, (co-star) Gerald (Anderson) and I had the chance to bond. We talked nonstop for three hours,” he recounted.

He is also looking forward to reuniting with Kim. “My first TV project was with Kim and Gerald (‘Go Kada, Go’).”

He recently released his first single, “Someone Like You,” under Star Records.

Matteo also makes time for his chosen charities. “I help a friend who’s active in Habitat for Humanity,” he related. “We also have a scholarship project in my family’s toy manufacturing business. We send teens to college.”

Sponsor Swatch plans to support Matteo with a campaign for Habitat, said the watch company’s local head Virgie Ramos. “For every watch purchased, Swatch will match it with a donation to Habitat.”
