WATCH: Nadine Lustre appears in James Reid’s ‘Turning Up’ music video
James Reid’s latest music video for the single “Turning Up” features a house party with girlfriend Nadine Lustre in attendance.
The Australian-Filipino actor and singer spent his last music video for “Cool Down” with another girl as well as his friends, with Lustre only appearing by his side at the end.
In this video, the “Palm Dreams” artist appears to be going through the motions of his showbiz career and livens up at a house party.
Things take a turn for the dark when he has a moment alone, and then Lustre approaches him.
“Palm Dreams” is his third album and the most personal, as Reid has admitted to penning most of the lyrics.

While the pair has starred in movies together, with their love team rising in popularity because of “On the Wings of Love”, Reid is now more focused on his music career and runs his own label, Careless.

They have both been seen partying with Reid’s friends, and have been at the receiving end of negative comments because of Reid’s bad boy image, which Lustre has defended.

In a 2016 interview at the late night talk show “Tonight with Boy Abunda”, the 24-year-old said, “I do love to party and I’ve had a long party streak. I get where the bad boy thing comes from, but maybe Nadine is just what I need. Can you hate me for wanting something that’s good?” JB
