Is Atom Araullo now officially a Kapuso?

After weeks of speculations as to where broadcast journalist Atom Araullo will head following his resignation from ABS-CBN, a proof of his alleged transfer to rival network GMA is now going viral.

A recent video post by celebrity blog Fashion Pulis seemed to confirm the news. The video featured a man driving a car while using the app Waze to head to his next destination. The 16-second video later revealed the gates of GMA as the man’s final destination. The video ended with a teaser saying “Big Reveal Bukas sa 24-Oras”, GMA’s primetime newscast.

However, the face of the man believed to be Araullo was still kept a mystery.

No confirmation yet has been given by the former “Umagang Kay Ganda” host.

Last year, Araullo first announced his resignation as a reporter from TV Patrol. Just recently, he formally announced his resignation from ABS-CBN. He then thanked the network for moulding him to be the journalist he is today and only had nothing but gratitude to his home network for over a decade.

Incidentally, Araullo started his career as a host in the hit 1990s Kapuso kid-oriented show “5 and Up”. JB
