LOOK: Ara Mina visits ‘Kita Kita’ shoot locations in Japan
Actress Ara Mina relives the romance of top-grossing indie movie “Kita Kita” as she visits its shoot locations in Sapporo, Japan.
Perhaps the most iconic location in the movie was that with the Fortune Bell and Love Padlock at Mount Miowa. The location is a popular sight-seeing spot that offers a spectacular view of the city of Sapporo, especially at night.
At the Fortune Bell, couples are supposed to ring the bell together as a tradition, whereas with the Love Padlock, lovers put their names together to ensure the strength of their relationship. One of the most iconic scenes in the movie was shot here.
In Mina’s post, she shared to her followers that she was already booked for Sapporo as early as January, and it was to her delight when she saw “Kita Kita” and its locations in Japan. She praised its breathtaking views.
