Angel Locsin’s special request on next movie with Angelica Panganiban: No slapping scene
With Angelica Panganiban and Angel Locsin reuniting for a new movie, Angel felt there had to be ground rules.
The two previously had a misunderstanding following a confrontation scene in the 2012 movie “One More Try,” during which Angel was physically hurt after Angelica slapped her and pulled her hair.
Back in 2014, Angelica said in a tweet, “Matagal na kaming okay” (We’ve been on good terms) when there were speculations that she had a negative comment on Angel.
On Angel’s birthday this year, Angelica said, “Hindi man fairytale ang simula ng friendship natin, naniniwala akong, may happy ending tayo (Even if our friendship didn’t have a fairytale beginning, I believe that we’ll have a happy ending).”
The actresses are starring in the drama “Wife Husband Wife” along with Richard Gutierrez. They will play sisters-in-law in conflict after cheating allegations.
Angel’s condition for the film? No more slapping.
Angelica told ABS-CBN News’ Gretchen Fullido, “Oo [may sampalan sa movie] pero wala kami [ni Angel]. Iniwas na yata. Iningatan na. And parang ayaw niya. Yun lang yata yung request niya para umoo siya (There’s a confrontation scene in the movie, but Angel and I don’t have one. It’s being avoided, and she doesn’t seem to want one. That seems to have been her only request to agree to making the movie.)
Article continues after this advertisementThey’ve already had a successful first shooting day together: “Nag-first day na kami…Nakakatuwa naman. Siguro kasi nag-uumpisa pa lang kaya medyo magagaan pa yung mga eksena na ginagawa namin (We’ve already had our first shooting day. It was fun, maybe because the scenes were light).” Niña V. Guno /ra
