Park Seo-joon shared his thoughts on whether he could fall in love with a friend in a recent interview with the fashion magazine High Cut, reports K-Pop Herald.
In the K-drama “Fight for My Way”, Park took on the role of taekwondo player Go Dong-man, who develops feelings for his childhood friend, Choi Ae-ra, played by actress Kim Ji-won.
Some viewers were a bit hesitant at first if the chemistry would work between the two leads. Park recently led a pack of warriors in “Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth” and was paired with Go Ara in the series. Kim played one of the second leads of “Descendants of the Sun” and was paired with Jin Goo. Still, the series gained popularity and was even regarded as the most popular TV drama in Korea for Mondays and Tuesdays during its airing.
Asked whether the same thing could happen to him, the actor answered, “I don’t have as many female friends as you think. But you never know. I’m open to all possibilities.”
Park stars in the action film “Midnight Runner”, scheduled to hit theaters on August 9. JB
