Sunshine Dizon remains a Kapuso

Drama actress Sunshine Dizon just strengthened her ties with GMA Network.

The “Ika-6 na Utos” lead star will remain a loyal Kapuso as she renewed her network contract last July 27. Present during the contract signing were GMA chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, GMA SVP for Entertainment TV Lilybeth Rasonable, and Perry Lansigan, Sunshine’s manager.

Dizon’s contract renewal was recently posted on Instagram by @gmanetwork.

The 34-year-old actress has been with the network since her teenage years. She was part of a 1990’s GMA teen trio, alongside fellow former teen stars Antoinette Taus and Kim de los Santos. Altogether, they were launched via the 1996 hit afternoon drama series “Annakarenina.” She soon joined the second batch of the phenomenal 1990s teen-oriented show “T.G.I.S.”.

Her team-up with former on-screen partner Polo Ravales was also among the hottest love teams of that time. Dizon had a much-publicized bitter separation from her husband Timothy Tan, due to the alleged infidelity from Tan’s end. They have two kids. JB
