Local stars seem to be in a frenzy of cutting their hair lately. Just as the Kapamilya network’s blockbuster king John Lloyd Cruz has recently shaved off huge parts of his hair, here goes the queen from the other side of the fence also cutting away hers.

After years of donning long bouncy locks, award-winning Kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado finally tried on a new hairstyle. In a recent entry to her Instagram Stories, she posted a photo of herself with her dog Conor who celebrates his first birthday. In the post, she’s seen sporting a much shorter cut.

Mercado currently appears in GMA7’s highly-anticipated local adaptation of the hit and internationally-acclaimed Korean series “My Love From The Star”, opposite newbie actor Gil Cuerva. It airs from Mondays to Fridays after Mulawin vs Ravena”.

She is currently being linked to fellow Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo. No updates yet on whether he’ll be shaving off his hair, too. JB
