Ai-ai de las Alas renews contract with GMA
Comedy queen Ai-ai Delas Alas remains a Kapuso.
On Monday, she extended her contract with GMA for another two years and shared her excitement at continuing her relationship with the network.
“Dito naman ako talaga nag-start, parang coming home ulit, at syempre mahal naman nila ako, bibigyan nila ako ng work ulit,” she told the entertainment media on her contract signing on Monday.
(… of course, they [GMA] love me that’s why they’ve given me work again.)

The comedienne’s renewal came a month before the second anniversary of GMA 7’s “Sunday PinaSaya,” which she co-hosts.
Present at the signing were GMA Network Chairman and CEO Atty. Felipe L. Gozon, SVP for Entertainment Lilybeth Rasonable and some other GMA executives.
De las Alas previously stayed with ABS-CBN for 14 years. However, prior to her transfer to the Lopez-owned network in 1998, she was a GMA talent for years. It was in 2015 that she officially ended her stay in the Kapamilya network to move back to GMA.
Tick tock to wedding day
The 52-year-old De las Alas is set to wed 23-year-old fiance Gerald Sibayan not once but twice. The first one will be in the US this November and their wedding in the Philippines will take place in 2018.
In previous interviews, the comedienne said that she had sworen to a vow of celibacy and that she was glad Sibayan respected her decision. /ra
