Ai-Ai gets engaged to BF on 3rd anniversary of relationship

Ai-Ai delas Alas is now engaged to her 23-year-old boyfriend Gerald Sibayan.
In an Instagram video on Tuesday, the actress-comedienne announced her engagement via a coffee glass with the writing “Can you be my misis?” and a heart-shaped paper that posed the question, “Will you marry me?”
“Some knots are meant to be tied forever. Our journey is not perfect but it’s ours and ill stick with you [until] the end. I will pray to our great God that our journey will be smooth and sweet towards eternity,” she captioned her post. The couple’s engagement also marked the third anniversary of their love relationship.
Sibayan also surprised his girlfriend with a bouquet of green roses from Marian Rivera’s flower shop, “Flora Vida: Perennial Blooms by Marian,” and a sparkling ring that fits on Delas Alas’ finger.

Their engagement comes after De Las Alas, 52, persuaded her boyfriend to postpone their wedding plans a few months ago.
“Parang gusto ko munang maging single (I want to enjoy my single life first),” she told PEP. “Kasi, di ba, two or three years ago ang divorce ko, pero ‘yung parang recognition dito sa Philippines, kakalabas lang last year (I have divorced two or three years ago but the recognition here in the Philippines was released last year).”
She also attended Sibayan’s college graduation last August. He graduated with a degree in Sports Management from De La Salle University.
