HBO’s “Westworld” TV series was a science fiction gem filled with mystery, robots and some existential questions on what it is to be alive. The show’s season one finale didn’t actually answer the existential questions yet, but they did give us some killer robots to look forward to.

Judging from the trailer, it appears season two will start off not too far from the end of season one. We get to see the killer robots Dolores (played by Evan Rachel Wood) and Teddy (James Marsden), or “hosts” as they’re called in the park, doing a good job of gunning down guests while on horseback.

Unknown to Dolores, her old flame William (Ed Harris), the man in black, also made it to season two, despite the events of the finale. A good guess is that he’s still obsessed about the “maze” and will pretty much shoot down anyone or anything that gets in his way.

“Westworld” season two is set for premiere sometime in 2018. This time around, it looks like there will be a lot less merrymaking with the hosts and a lot more running away before they kill you.
