Caitlyn Jenner bares political aspirations
Ever since President Donald Trump assumed position in the White House, several Hollywood celebrities have expressed their desire to one day run for office.
Perhaps the biggest names being thrown around as future politicians include Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and musician Kid Rock. Now, we can add Caitlyn Jenner to the ever growing list.
The former Olympian, who has been a vocal figure for equality and LGBTQ (lesbians, gays, bisexuals, transgenders and queers) issues, recently expressed her desire to showcase “the political side of activism” by assuming a government position in the foreseeable future.
“Over the next six months or so I gotta find out where I can do a better job,” she said during John Catsimatidis’ radio show over the weekend, as relayed by The Huffington Post.
“Can I do a better job from the outside working the perimeter of the political scene, being open to talking to anybody, or are you better off from the inside? We are in the process of determining that. But yeah, I would look for a senatorial run.”
