Influential celeb’s talent fee shocks client

/ 05:10 AM July 16, 2017

Can you blame Influential Celebrity for making hay while the sun is shining bright?

Enterprising Client had a brilliant idea: Why not hire IC as the company’s new endorser. After all, IC is Tinseltown’s flavor of the month. As bonus, IC is kinda tight with the powers that be.

When EC’s staffers inquired about IC’s talent fee, they were left speechless. They had to pick up their jaw from the floor because IC’s handlers asked for a cool million.

IC is just being practical.

No one would shell out that same amount once IC is no longer the toast of the town.

Out and about

Is Closeted Benefactor on the verge of coming out any time soon?
A mole spotted CB sashaying all over town, accompanied by latest beau, Handsome Hunk.

CB and HH are often seen together in public, leading some observers to surmise that they are now flaunting their “secret” affair.

Well, they can always claim that CB is mentoring HH. As luck would have it, CB and HH share the same business goals.

Ancient history

Turns out Stunning Luminary has yet to forgive Formidable Rival.

Years ago, FR had an illicit affair with SL’s Unfaithful Partner.

Although FR eventually parted ways with UP, SL still nurtured a burning grudge.

Fast forward to the here and now: FR got embroiled in a messy controversy recently.

SL can’t help gloating about FR’s misfortune in public.

File under AH: Short for Ancient History.

Royal treatment

The horror stories about Finicky Personality are spreading like wildfire in the studio.

Staffers complain that FP is difficult to handle.

FP only rides vehicles that are brand-new—preferably with air-conditioning set to Arctic level. If the van is old and shabby, expect FP to throw a hissy fit.

Same goes for the accommodations. FP expects a luxurious dressing room all the time. If the production can only afford a lowly tent, FP demands to be billeted in a plush hotel.

Instead of cutting down on costs, poor producers end up spending more.

Forever clueless

From the Inquirer tabloid Bandera:

Hot Charmer vanished from the scene for a while.

Seems former coworkers didn’t miss HC at all. It’s because HC can be a headache on the set. Work gets stretched until the wee hours because of HC’s incompetence.

HC requires countless takes in order to perfect a scene.

HC is now back with a vengeance. Colleagues can only hope that HC has improved by now.

Alas, the vacation didn’t do HC any good. After years in the biz, HC has remained clueless about the craft of acting.

This week’s top show biz news in the Inquirer tabloid Bandera (and why we are moved, if we are moved):

Nora Aunor

Nora Aunor, Rhian Ramos pinuri sa unang Eddy Awards; dapat gayahin ng ibang artista. (Because they attended…even on a Sunday?)

(No, no, no!)

Pia Wurtzbach (right) and Marlon Stockinger

(Not really.)

Cristine Reyes (right) and Ali Khatibi

Ali Khatibi on his wife Cristine Reyes: “Napakabuting asawa at nanay niya!” (OK, fine…you know the drill.)

(This talk…so soon after the accident, huh!)

Kris Bernal

(When in doubt, disrobe?)

(Such refreshing candor.)

Jake Zyrus on his journey as a transman: “Kailan po ako magpapakatotoo…pag huli na ang lahat?” (Oo nga namen.)
