Fans of Netflix sci-fi series “Stranger Things” have been treated to an official season 2 release date and another teaser.

A new poster shared on the streaming service Twitter revealed that season 2 will premiere on Oct. 27.
The series’ social media pages shared another haunting teaser:

With Will (Noah Schnapp) back from the dark, alternate world known as the Upside Down, it appears that he and his friends will have to face danger again. Season 2 is set in 1984, a year after the events that shook the small town of Hawkins.
Sean Astin, known for his role as Samwise Gamgee in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy joins the cast as an old high-school classmate and romantic interest of Joyce (Winona Ryder).
