The launch of PLDT’s Roku Powered TVolution Box (TVB), developed in partnership with video-streaming pioneer Roku Inc., at Shangri-La The Fort was a star-studded affair. TVB is an all-in-one, plug-and-play entertainment solution loaded with video-on-demand titles from iflix and Netflix, Cignal’s pay TV channels, free content from YouTube, and over 100 streaming channels.

In line with this, I asked some celebrities what their fave iflix/Netflix shows are and the title of their life stories if they were to be made into TV shows.

FEATURED STORIES

Regine Velasquez: My fave shows include “The Flash” and “Supergirl.” The title of my life story would be “Magician.”

Ogie Alcasid: For me, it’s “Luke Cage,” “Narcos,” “Designated Survivor,” “Shooter” and “Gossip Girl.” My life/love story with Reg would be titled “Blessed.”

Pia Wurtzbach: “House of Cards,” “Vikings” and “Orange Is the New Black.” The title will be “Almost Cinderella,” because my life story is close to the life story of the Disney princess.

Mariel de Leon: “Penny Dreadful,” “Marvel’s Jessica Jones” and “RuPaul’s Drag Race.” My story would be called “Black Diamond.”

Rachel Peters: “Orange Is the New Black,” “Designated Survivor,” “Narcos” and “Moulin Rouge.” Title: “Princess Diaries,” because I’m a bit of a klutz, always trying to act poised (laughs).

Katarina Rodriguez: “Moonrise Kingdom,” “The Blue Lagoon” and “Empire Records.” Title: “Reign,” because I’m trying to be the best queen I can possibly be.

Alyssa Valdez: “Arrow,” “Flash,” “How to Get Away with Murder,” documentaries and those K-dramas. Title: “Wonder Woman.”

MJ Lastimosa: “White Chicks,” “Anchorman” and “Little Man.” Can’t think of a title, but it will be similar to “Desperate Housewives,” and it’ll be more interesting to include my beauty queen-friends in it.

Christian Bautista: “Designated Survivor,” “War Machine,” “House of Cards” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine.” If my life were a TV series, the title would be “Crossroads.”

Michael Pangilinan: “Narcos,” “Shooter” and “Designated Survivor.” My life story would be called “The Purpose.”
