Astray from her image as a pop diva, Lady Gaga has disguised as a substitute teacher and taught students the value of kindness and optimism.

Earlier this month, Gaga interacted with students from Walter Reed Middle School in California, USA. She is partnering with Staples to raise funds for her Born This Way Foundation and DonorsChoose.org in order to augment school supplies and promote “positivity” within the four corners of the classroom.

“I want kids to love themselves fearlessly,” she said in the clip uploaded on Wednesday. The retail company, through its Staples for Students initiative, raised $2 million (P101 million) for the cause, according to Adweek.

Likewise, Staples will also bolster to award a $50,000 (2.5 million) scholarship grant and a trip to Las Vegas to attend one of Gaga’s gigs there.
