While performing for his fans during the Wireless Festival in Germany on Sunday, Justin Bieber tossed his pair of sneakers onto the crowd. The shoes are now inherited by two different Beliebers and have different destinies.
One of the inheritors is auctioning the singer’s right Yeezy shoe, which is floating on eBay for the price of 5,000 euros (P287,000). “Selling the original Yeezy that Justin Bieber has worn and has thrown in the crowd at the Wireless Festival in Frankfurt this Sunday,” said the auctioneer, who plans to donate part of the earnings to a local charity.
On the other side of the country, Bieber’s left shoe is treading another path as a rising Instagram star. Using the handle @theleftyeezy, the page has already amassed more than 6,900 followers on the photo-sharing platform.
Still, Bieber is haunted by mishaps: After being accused by Indian concertgoers of lip-syncing his performances last month, Bieber forgot the lyrics of his chart-topping Spanish track “Despacito” while performing at a nightclub in New York, TMZ reported.
