Sharon on Sarah, Juday, ‘The Voice’ mentors
Talking to Megastar Sharon Cuneta is never a ho-hum experience. If you ask her one question, you’ll likely get a reply that goes beyond perfunctory.
When we asked Sharon what she thought of Sarah Geronimo and the other mentors (Lea Salonga and Bamboo) of “The Voice Teens,” she explained to us why she holds them in high regard.
“The show’s contestants are blessed because of their gifted coaches,” she said. “Lea and Bamboo are parents, so they’re just as nurturing.
“Sarah may be young, but she’s a good girl all around, so she deserves all her success.
“I’m pleased about the stars who came after me. There’s Juday (Judy Ann Santos) and Sarah, who set such good examples to their followers.

I’d like show biz to be fun but clean. I want it to cater to all kinds of people without forgetting decency, humility and respect.”
