WATCH: Ed Sheeran jams in James Corden’s ‘Carpool Karaoke’ teaser
After waiting for ages, fans will finally be able to watch Ed Sheeran jam with “The Late Late Show” host James Corden for his trendsetting “Carpool Karaoke” segment.
As seen in the snippet posted on Thursday, Corden, who brought the show to London to reel off three episodes, braves the rush hour by singing with the British singer-songwriter for the show’s Wednesday (Tuesday in the UK) episode. Some of Sheeran’s mellow singles, such as “Castle on the Hill” and “Sing” will be performed.
It turns out that Sheeran’s appearance on the segment had been a three-year longing of his. Despite feeling a bit uncomfortable singing his own hits in a car, Sheeran agreed to guest in “Carpool Karaoke.”
“I know the whole thing is singing to your tune, but I think I’d feel a bit awkward singing to my song. I think I’d just want to put on some Biggie,” he spoke to Capital FM’s Roman Kemp Show last January. “I want to put on something really awkward and dirty, like Biggie’s song ‘Big Booty Hoes’—or something like that—and just hear James Corden sing along to that.”

Sheeran’s fourth studio album “Divide” surmounted music charts in 14 countries and became the biggest-selling vinyl album this year.
