Niall Horan willing to drop everything for a One Direction reunion
Amid rumors that boy band One Direction would unlikely make a comeback now that almost each member has a solo gig, Niall Horan said he would drop everything for a One Direction reunion.
In an interview with Billboard magazine, the 23-year-old said he would like it soon: “When it will be, I don’t know. I prefer not to do it after I’m 40. I’d prefer the next few years.”
“I told my managers from the start: when One Direction comes knocking, fo*k what I’m doing. I don’t give a sh*t if I sold out arenas or won Grammys. I wouldn’t be doing this if it wasn’t for that,” Horan declared.
The band went on hiatus January 2016, but the five boys, consisting of Louis Tomlinson, 25, Zayn Malik, 24, Harry Styles, Liam Payne, and the boyish Niall, all 23 years old, are still close with one another and constantly talk. “I see Louis and [his son] little Freddie all the time. He lives around the corner from me [in Los Angeles].”
The blonde singer-songwriter is also supportive of each one’s achievements in their personal projects, and said of chart-topping Harry’s latest performances: “He’s smashing it.”

Zayn was the first to leave the group in 2015 and debuted a single in 2016. Harry, Niall and Liam each released their individual singles this 2017. Louis is enjoying fatherhood with his year-old son, while Liam welcomed a son March this year with pop singer Cheryl Ann Tweedy. Niña V. Guno/JB
