LOOK: Fil-Am gets ‘motivational’ greeting from Emma Watson
A Filipino-American student has been motivated to study for her exams, thanks to Emma Watson’s enchanting presence.
Therese Kiara took to Facebook to share how the “Beauty and the Beast” star randomly greeted her during a FaceTime call. Therese’s mother happened to meet Watson while the former was talking to her daughter via video call app FaceTime.
“I was just studying for my Bio exam when my mom called to show Emma Watson standing behind her then she politely asked Emma if she can say hi to me on the cam[era]. She was so kind and sweet,” Therese recounted in a post that has amassed 103,000 likes and 14, 320 shares since last week. “Perfect motivation to study.”
Watson was quoted as replying “Sure! Hi, study hard!”
Therese, of New York, is not the only person who notched a lucky FaceTime moment with Watson. Back in late February, writer Derek Blasberg set up an “Advice from Emma Watson” booth in New York’s Grand Central Terminal, where Watson gave helpful life tips to strangers through FaceTime calls in exchange for $2 (P100.)
