What if you were given a chance to redo part of your high-school years to craft a better life for your adult self? Such is the opportunity offered to Arata Kaizaki, main character of the manga and anime “ReLife”.

The 13-episode anime adaptation of “ReLife” has been confirmed to receive four additional episodes and a new story arc, reports Anime News Network.

The episodes will go directly to Blu-ray and DVD which will go on sale starting March 2018.

This new 4-episode story arc will reportedly follow the 13th episode of the anime. It will also end with the conclusion of Arata Kaizaki’s “ReLife” program.

“ReLife” is an ongoing manga penned and illustrated by Yayoiso. It was initially published in 2013 on the “comico” website and has six volumes in print.

The story follows Arata Kaizaki, a 27-year-old unemployed single guy, who is offered a chance to relive his senior year in high school through the ReLife program. By interacting with classmates and building connections, the program hopes to help Arata find what he lacks and let him live a happier and more fulfilling life within one year. Alfred Bayle/JB
