Sometimes, the most mordant and uptight celebrity chef could be tamed after all.
On Friday, Myrtle Sarrosa “cosplayed” into a fan girl after Gordon Ramsay had followed her on Twitter. This came after the “Pinoy Big Brother” contestant and cosplayer sent him a photo of her corn omelette topped with tomato slices. “I don’t usually cook but I hope this corn omelette makes you smile,” she tweeted.
Unlike other chef wannabees whom he shamelessly roasted on the networking site, Sarrosa managed to brighten up Ramsay’s day. Sarrosa raved in a Facebook post, “This just made my day! I can’t believe Gordon Ramsay followed me back after I sent him a photo of my recent attempt at cooking.”

Ramsay, who hosts the shows “MasterChef” and “Hell’s Kitchen,” is one of the most sought-after Twitter personalities with 4.8 million followers. He would use his Twitter account to critique photos of dishes sent to him by users and most of the time, he would give them harsh and witty feedback. Gianna Francesca Catolico
