WATCH: New ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ trailer shows transformed Will Turner

The new trailer for “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” shows off a bit more of the cast, including the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow and a now transformed Will Turner.

Audiences last saw Will Turner becoming the new captain of the Flying Dutchman at the end of “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End”, the third installment of the franchise. This fifth installment also sees Orlando Bloom returning in the franchise to play the said role.

Now, for reasons unknown, he has come back and is briefly shown in the trailer. It appears that he’s seen better days and what looks to be barnacles have started to grow on the side of his face.

The trailer also suggests that the girl mentioned might have something to do with the new Will Turner.

All questions will be answered when “Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales” sets sail into cinemas on May 26. JB
