LOOK: 1964 John Lennon suit up for auction

A suit that was custom-made for John Lennon is set to go under the hammer this week.

Featuring a gray houndstooth pattern, the woollen suit was worn by the music icon in 1964 while performing with The Beatles.

It was designed by the band’s tailor Douglas Millings and features two handwritten labels marked “John” on the breast pocket interior and on the trousers.

The suit will be put up for auction by Nate D. Sanders Auctions on March 30, with bidding beginning at $50,000 (over P2.5 million). JB
