PH animators from CDO to create 3D anime

Sonzai no Kyoukai - Division of Existence

A team of Filipino animators from CDO are currently in the process of creating a 3D anime project called “Sonzai no Kyoukai” or “Division of Existence.”

The animators behind the project is called Team XGN and two of their members hail from Cagayan de Oro City.

Leading the team is Barangay Cugman local Dave Gabrinab. He also handles the story, character and environment design, animation, and rendering. Fellow CDO resident Brad Arces from Kauswagan takes care of animatics and storyboard. Elroy Zagada Uta from Patag heads merchandising.

FEATURED STORIES

The rest of the team includes Linil Komban for character animation, VFX and rigging; Sri Mule for character animation; Joseph Manuel for SFX/BGM; and Caleb Mills for story/script.

Division of Existence tells the story of John Salazar, an operative of Global Security tasked with guarding a prison for paranormal entities. One of the cells he is guarding suddenly breaks open, forcing him to confront paranormals while attempting to shut down the gate that allows them entry into the human world.
