Sinon Loresca has revealed that he tied the knot with a British guy back in 2010.
In GMA’s “Magpakailanman” episode aired on Saturday, Loresca’s fascinating life was detailed on the small screen–from abandoning his abusive father to emigrating with his sister to the UK. The “Eat Bulaga” comedian, whose catwalk clip became viral last month, revealed in a short interview with host Mel Tiangco that he had married a British guy named Richard, whom he had met online.
“Kasal po kami ng asawa ko doon sa London, legal po kami (We are legally married in London),” he said.
Despite being separated by time zones, Loresca admitted that his husband supported his new career in show biz and even visited him last year.
“Nagbakasyon lang po siya nung December. Kaaalis lang niya ng January (He visited [the Philippines] last December. He left in January),” he added. “So, binibisita naman niya ako kasi sinuportahan niya talaga ako (So, he visited me because he really supported me).”

At first, Loresca had a difficult time adjusting to his British accent, but time passed and he finds himself speaking his partner’s accent. He added, “Minsan dumudugo yung ilong ko pag i-English siya, kasi minsan, sumesemplang talaga. Ang lalim ng English (Sometimes, my nose would bleed whenever he spoke English and sometimes it went out of hand. His English was ‘deep’ [hard to understand]).” Nose bleed is a term that Filipinos use when they struggle to converse in English with a native speaker.

“So, naiintindihan ko. Hanggang sa tumagal na po kami, alam ko na kung ano ang ibubuga ng bibig niya (I understand [his English] now. Eventually, I learned how to comprehend what came out from his mouth),” he said.
Loresca’s funny antics were discovered by the noontime show, who invited him to join the “Kalyeserye” crew. He left his job as a retail salesman to meet Vic Sotto and other “Eat Bulaga” staff last April 12, 2016, and has landed a gig on the segment as “Rogelia,” a gay bodyguard.
