Former teen heartthrob Carlo Aquino took fans to the ultimate 90’s throwback when he sang the theme song of his hit teen series, “G-mik”.

The video was uploaded via Instagram by Star Magic, the training and management subsidiary of the actor’s home network, ABS-CBN, which also aired “G-mik” from 1999 to 2002.

Known as “Junjun” in the iconic youth-oriented series, Aquino together with former JCS bandmates John Prats and Stefano Mori, originally recorded the show’s theme song. It easily became an anthem for their teen fans back then.

This was also the time when Aquino was paired with fellow teen star Angelica Panganiban, who became the actor’s longtime girlfriend, until they broke up in 2003.

The show also starred Camille Prats and Mico Samson among the original cast. JB
