WATCH: Ed Sheeran covers ‘Touch,’ gets kudos from Little Mix
Whether it’s a chart-topping single or an acoustic cover, Ed Sheeran can take hold of his guitar and then sing in a spur of the moment.
In his first live jam at BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, the British singer-songwriter nailed a subdued version of “Touch,” one of Little Mix’s hits in their album “Glory Days.” With backup vocalists, Sheeran pulled off a sweet tune different from the upbeat pop ditty by the all-girl group.

He also penetrated the live studio to play his chart-topping hits “Bloodstream” and “Shape of You,” which was just released last month. To end his fans’ longing for his music, Sheeran will drop his third album titled “÷ ” (Divide) in March.
Before singing on air, the “Thinking Out Loud” crooner made an explosive confession about Little Mix. When he went incognito from his social media handles and the spotlight in 2016, he only attended a Little Mix concert in Italy.

I didn’t really go to any gigs and then I was in Milan and I’m a Little Mix fangirl,” Sheeran admitted. “They just have hits upon hits. There’s not a single song that comes out that I’m not like, ‘Oh, that’s gonna be in my head for a month now.’ They’re always on point.”
An enchanted Little Mix gave its seal of approval by tweeting that Sheeran “smashed” their anthem.
