WATCH: Stranger Things actor David Harbour delivers ‘call to arms’ acceptance speech at SAG

In what could be one of the most rousing speeches in an awards program, David Harbour, who plays Jim Hopper on the science fiction-horror web series Stranger Things, received an equally rousing standing ovation at the recently concluded Screen Actors Guild Awards.

As if to address current issues in the U.S. pertaining to the Trump administration’s new policies on refugees and immigration, Harbour’s speech focused on the importance of inclusion, “…as per Chief Jim Hopper, punch some people in the face when they seek to destroy what we have envisioned for ourselves and the marginalized.” Alfred Bayle
