Why should theatergoers watch Spotlight Artists Centre’s “D.O.M. (Dirty Old Musical)”? Producer Isay Alvarez has the answer: “This particular stage musical isn’t just fun. Theater lovers will fall in love (and identify) with its characters.

“More than that, it celebrates Original Pilipino Music (OPM). (Musical director) Myke Salomon did a great job reworking Filipino hits into tunes that people of different ages and from all walks of life can enjoy. ‘Kay Ganda ng Ating Musika,’ ‘Ang Himig Natin,’ ‘Pag Tumatagal Lalong Tumitibay,’ ‘Sana’ and many others—what’s not to like?”

We hear you, Isay. —Rito Asilo
