The Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2016 kicked off the holiday season’s highly-anticipated roster of Pinoy films with a “Parade of Stars” on Friday afternoon.

To the delight of fans, celebrities on their festively decorated floats paraded around the Metro, which started at the Manila City Hall and ended at Plaza Miranda in Quiapo, instead of the usual kick off at Roxas Boulevard.

This year’s MMFF entries, which were selected by a new executive committee under new criteria, are “Ang Babae sa Septic Tank 2,” “Die Beautiful,” “Kabisera,” “Oro,” “Saving Sally,” “Seklusyon,” “Sunday Beauty Queen” and “Vince & Kath & James.”
