Alden Richards debuts at the Asian Television Awards 2016

Singapore, 3 December 2016 – Filipino actor, recording artist and host Alden Richards recently made his debut at the 21st Asian Television Awards as a host for the ‘live’ televised segment of the awards ceremony.
Alden Richards is no stranger from the Filipino television scene – being one half of powerhouse-couple “AlDub”, Richards has solidified himself as a nation’s sweetheart. Back in Manila, the couple appears regularly on the hit TV-show ‘Eat Bulaga!’ and has a loyal following of fans rooting for their on-screen relationship. He also has a successful music career with three solo-albums under his belt.
During his time in Singapore, Richards took part in a Twitter BlueRoom a day before the event, where he help a ‘Question & Answer’ session with his excited fans on Twitter.

The 21st Asian Television Awards was held on 2 December at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre with the second day broadcasted “live” across Asia.
Other prominent Filipino names from last evening included comedian Michael V. and guest performer Ivy Grace Paredes.
K-Pop star Amber Liu brought energy levels at the event to a whole new level with her dance moves.
Besides Alden, Ivy Grace and Amber Liu, other hosts of the event included Adrian Pang, Stephanie Carrington, Baki Zainal and Fiona Su, while JJ Lin, Charli XCX and Rossa completed the performance lineup.
