Amid the disbandment of Korean pop group 2NE1 on Friday,  Sandara Park voiced out her thoughts in a mournful letter circulating on Twitter recently.

A 2NE1 fan page posted a handwritten letter reportedly written by the “Pambansang Krungkrung” on Saturday. Although Park didn’t publicly post the letter addressed to “Blackjacks,” the group’s loyal fan army, she liked the post, dismissing gossips that the letter was fake.

“Please don’t go. I’m so lonely. We gotta stay together. Baby, I miss you,” she said.

“I don’t care what other people say. I wanna scream to the whole world that I love you. And I’m still falling in love with Blackjacks. Don’t cry. Nobody can’t hold us down. So don’t stop the music,” she added.

“I will be missing you. I hope you’re happy. It ain’t over till it’s over. And it’s always gotta be you. I’m sorry and thank you Blackjacks. From the bottom of my heart. Sincerely yours, Dara of 2NE1.”

In another video posted by the fan account, the Korean pop star, 34, handed her letter to a fan after an episode of ABS-CBN’s reality talent show Pinoy Boy Band Superstar, where she is a judge.

Accordingly, the hashtag #Thankyou2NE1 trended on the social networking site this weekend, with fans posting their tearful farewells to their beloved K-pop goddesses.

Earlier in April, former member Minzy left the group, while CL and Dara renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment. The other member, CL, opted for a solo career and recently wrapped up her American tour.

Upon its birth in 2009, 2NE1 broke music records and became YG Entertainment’s “golden gem” next to Black Pink. Billboard reported that 2NE1 released its final album, “Crush,” and did its swan song at the 2015 Mnet Asia Music Awards.  Gianna Francesca Catolico
