A Filipina blind singer has impressed the judges of French talent competition “La France a un Incroyable Talent” (France Has Incredible Talent) and even moved one to tears.

Katchry Jewel Golbin, who also uses the name Alienette Coldfire, made French judge Helena Segara cry with her emotional rendition of the French version of “I Dreamed A Dream” from the musical “Les Miserables.”

Judges Golbin Eric Antoine, Gilbert Rozon and Kamel Ouali also had nothing but praise for Golbin, who advanced to the next round for her performance.

According to France’s Tele Star, Golbin learned the French language to understand the song La Vie en Rose by one of her idols Edith Piaf.

A video of Golbin belting out Mariah Carey’s “I’ll Be There” in a mall also made the rounds on social media in 2014. YG/RAM
