Angela Lansbury performed a tune “as old as time.”
The mellow voice behind the doting Mrs. Potts in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast sang the film’s classical theme song in its 25th-anniversary screening held at the Lincoln Center in New York on Sunday.

Lansbury, 90, joined the original voice cast of the film, including Paige O’Hara (Belle), Robby Benson (Beast) and Richard White (Gaston), People reported.
She was joined by musical composer Alan Menken, who played the piano. During her performance, she even recited one of Potts’ lines to her son. “Run along and get into the cupboard, Chip,” she said. “Night, Love.”
