WATCH: Emma Watson, Dan Stevens read for ‘Beauty and the Beast’

Disney’s “Tale as Old as Time” still enchants Disney fans with “childish shudders.”

The entertainment company released a short behind-the-scenes video of the upcoming film on Thursday. The clip features Emma Watson, who plays Belle, and Dan Stevens as the Beast, reading some of their lines during a table read for the live-action film. Other remarkable characters make quick appearances in the clip, such as Lumière and Cogsworth, voiced by Ian McKellen and Ewan McGregor.

“Technology has caught up to the ideas that were introduced in that [original] movie,” director Bill Condon said.

Moreover, Disney will release a DVD of the original animated “Beauty and the Beast” movie in celebration of its 25th anniversary.
