CC would rather stay on the set and not go home where relatives would line up to ask for moola as payment for all sorts of bills.
CC cannot afford to take things easy for as long as these family members refuse to do their share in the household.

Manhandled
Handsome Hunk is a regular bit player in the projects of Veteran Insider.
HH thought VI is showering him with assignments out of sheer kindness.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Turned out VI was scheming to get into HH’s pants.
One night, VI crawled into HH’s bed and the inevitable happened. Manhandled HH felt dejected and quit with dispatch.
Traumatized, HH now rejects every offer that also involves VI.
Better safe than sorry.

Scintillating Star had no choice but to call it quits because of Crafty Sweetheart’s inconsistencies.
Well-meaning buddies warned SS of CS’ rather checkered past. According to the rumor mill, CS has a history of targeting moneyed but vulnerable prey.
SS didn’t want to become another one of CS’ victims.
What finally broke the deal was CS’ request for SS to part with a sizable amount for a dubious transaction.
Friends suspected that CS would benefit from the venture, while SS would be left holding an empty bag.

Attractive Star and Former Lover are not exactly chummy nowadays.

FL has nothing but nasty things to say about AS. FL claims AS is self-absorbed and arrogant.
