It seemed suspicious from the very start.
Industry insiders pounced on Promising Newbie who was deluged with a string of disparaging reports. It was a head-scratcher because PN was an easy target—a sitting duck, really.
Turned out Power-tripping Personality was behind the demolition job. PP bankrolled the relentless campaign against PN, in order to prop up another Aspiring Novice.
It’s because AN is the new apple of PP’s eye.
PP frequently resorts to dirty tricks in order to drumbeat the careers of personal favorites.
A perfect example is Persistent Veteran who bags all sorts of prime projects—in spite of obvious limitations.
Foot in mouth
Some sensitive members of the audience got the shock of their lives at a big bash featuring Influential Star.
IS apparently made a pretty controversial statement that didn’t sit too well with several people.
Instead of spewing out superlatives, IS presented an unflattering portrait of the local scene.
For the faint-hearted, IS seemed harsh—if not downright haughty. But then again some keen observers would argue that IS was merely being honest.
The truth hurts, after all.
Anywhere but here
Bubbly Celebrity seemed forlorn and gloomy that day.
Still, BC graced a splashy event, in spite of the sullen mood.
Is it because BC was not the real star of the festive gathering? Is it because BC didn’t feel welcome at all?
BC was aware of all this talk and couldn’t wait to get out of the place. BC would rather be anywhere but there.
As expected, BC swiftly made a graceless exit even before the hosts could say goodbye to the guests.

Pert Starlet recently made a rare appearance on the red carpet.
PS, who vanished from the scene for a while, was unrecognizable.
PS no longer looks like her old self. Heck, PS doesn’t even look like her “new” self.
Seemed PS went under the knife yet again. It must be an addiction rooted in a troubled past.
Years ago, relatives constantly praised PS’ siblings for their attractiveness. Not PS.
Perhaps PS was irrevocably scarred by the childhood trauma.
Queen of feels

CP would often target handsome guys and take selfies with them. CP would then spread the snapshots with the hunks all over social media—making it appear that there was something “romantic” going on between them.
Quite inevitably, the men would avoid CP because of the public shaming. CP would then start dissing the hapless boys, calling them “user-friendly.”
