Now on its eighth season, “MasterChef Australia” has  premiered on the Lifetime channel and airs at 8 p.m. weekdays.

Among this season’s contestants are Singapore-born siblings Jimmy Wong and Theresa Wong-Visintin, who bring an edge to the competition with their different styles and personalities. They both pursued careers in design until they realized that their true calling lay in cooking.

The popular cooking tilt’s judges are Gary Mehigan, Matt Preston and George Calombaris. Joining them are big names in cooking like Nigella Lawson, Heston Blumenthal and Marco Pierre White.

The trailer of the new “Ben-Hur” action adventure epic proudly showcases its Christ-centric tone.
